GOVERNMENT — Homeland Security, Emergency Services and Law Enforcement
The MobileMast™ was selected in 2001 by the Department of Justice for use by first responders as part of the Department of Homeland Security's "Pre-positioned Equipment Pod" program (PEP Program). Since then our MobileMast has won the respect of, and is in use with, various elements of FEMA, NASA, the FBI, DOE, US Border Patrol, ATF, US Marshall Service, as well as numerous law enforcement, fire fighting, and rescue service units.

The wide success of the MobileMast around the country and the world is derived from its proven safe, simple, and reliable operation and as such has placed it in a class of its own.

MILITARY — The soldiers axiom: "You need to shoot, move, and communicate."
The recent combat actions in Afghanistan and Iraq and the "lessons learned" from units deployed to those locations, have all clearly demonstrated that a key element of our ability to defeat the enemy is in part attributed to our ability to capitalize on the modern command and control systems available to our warfighters. The operational tempo and flexibility of our forces demand that our supporting communications infrastructure, including the Antenna Mast components, be capable of providing the warfighter the interoperability and operational flexibility necessary on the digital battlefield.

The MobileMast was developed in cooperation with US Special Forces from 1997-1999 to meet the expanding needs of the digital battlefield. The MobileMast is now an integral part of the US military's vision of the "Global Information Grid." It provides the warfighters the ability to utilize numerous antenna applications that span the communication spectrum as well as new and emerging use of tactical WLANs and tactical cellular communications. Additionally, MobileMast has been used to support motion sensors, chemical and biological sensors, weather sensors, thermal imaging devices as well as lights, cameras, and speakers.

Finally, MobileMast has been a key component of the military~s recent efforts to expand the use of HF communications. The competition for, and sometimes limited access to, SATCOM bandwidth for long-range communications, has provided new challenges and opportunities for unit leaders as they have turned to HF radio transmitters with the ALE feature to meet their increasing long range communication needs. AMI's cable pulley device (OSMM-KT-IVP) which, when used in conjunction with our MobileMast, enables the user to set up either "inverted V" or "dipole" antenna solutions in less than three minutes.

United Nations Mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC)
On 24 February 2000 the UN Security Council expanded the UN Mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC) and consequently increased the number of deployed forces. This end strength remained consistent until July of 2003 when again the Security Council increased the troop force end strength in an effort to respond to the growing unrest in the Bunia region of NW Congo. The deployment of this Brigade size force came with a requirement to requisition additional communications infrastructure equipment. For one of these components, the UN Field Communications Officers stationed in the Congo selected our product for their expanding antenna mast needs. As a result, 30 of our EZ Raze MobileMast systems are now deployed to the Congo in support of ongoing peacekeeping operations.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Last year, as U.S. Marine and Army forces prepared for the upcoming deployment to the Middle East in support of coalition efforts to overthrow Saddam Hussein, several key warfighting units from both services ordered several of our EZ Raze mast systems. In particular, these units from the First Marine Division; the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, the 11th Marine Artillery Regiment, the 11th MEU (SOC), the 13TH MEU (SOC), the 15th MEU (SOC), and the Division Commander's own operational command post, made purchases of our mast just prior to their command elements forward deploying to their staging areas in Kuwait. We are proud to have had our product play a role in the success of these outstanding combat units as they accomplished their mission to free Iraq from the tyrannical control of Saddam Hussein.
